The Project

Physical, psychological and sexual abuse of children continues to be a reality in Mozambican society. The number of vulnerable children living in shelters is estimated at around 3,000, and as a consequence, many of them escape from the community and the home of their families, and are eventually housed in shelters for vulnerable and in conflict with the law. However, due to lack of minimum operating conditions, many of these centers are closed, hence the growth in terms of the number of children in and on the street.

Outcomes/Deliverables
Recognition of the rights of the child;
Reducing the level of violence against children;
Call the attention of the government to intervene in the next cases;

About Us

The project aims to educate children to recognize and demand their rights, and adults to recognize that beating a child is not educating, however wrong the child may have been, the idea of the project inspires me because in my community I have Seen children with minor injuries and serious others even die from being beaten by their parents.
The project will be implemented in Mozambique, in the province of Cabo delgado, in the village of Montepuez, on the north side of the country.
Our target group is high school students.
